Local Clark Girl Scout Troop #223 Goes Camping!
It was a beautiful day in June when the Girl Scouts of Troop
#223 met at the Clark school to prepare for their first llama
trek as a troop. A good many cookies
had to be sold to make this happen. Everyone wore smiles. The vehicles, which
carried the girls to the trailhead, buzzed with excitement. After saddling the
llamas and gearing them up, the girls, their fearless leaders, Tina Swinsick,
Erin Reilley, and the two wonderful (llama expert) parents, Nancy and Jack White,
were off on their wonderful adventure. For the next three days, the troop camped,
hiked, told stories by the campfire and roasted marshmallows. Although they were
tired, the girls will remember this trip for years to come!
