About Ms. B...

Sarah Beurskens is another new staff member at NRCCS. Sarah has been teaching for 13 years, three in the state of Washington and 10 in Colorado. She comes to us from the Christian Heritage School where she taught middle school and high school English for 10 years. She has her teaching certification in three states. Prior to teaching, she was a journalist for a daily newspaper. She continues to freelance write and has published two booksÑKayaking, Riding the Rapids and Courage on the Causeway. She is married to Mike, an engineer for Civil Design Consultants. They have two children Charlie, 9, and Will, 7. When sheÕs not teaching, she likes to ski, hike, kayak, garden and hang out with friends and family.
